Why Do You See Fees?

While the platform is 100% free for organizations, users will see a processing fee for each transaction. For ACH, that fee is 1% per transaction. For credit cards, that fee is 3.2% + 30 cents per transaction. That processing fee is because we use a payment processor to manage the transaction from a donor directly to the non-profit. The payment processor securely transfers the donation from the start to the end.

Additionally, a portion of the profit that Piesa Giving makes is donated back to a non-profit organization that we select.

How Long is the Donation Process?

We take pride in making sure donations to nonprofits organizations process on a timely basis. As soon as a donation is confirmed, those details are sent directly to the payment processor. For credit cards, the processing time is 1-2 days and for ACH the processing time is 6-7 days.
